What's new

Utah Jazz (49-31) @ Golden State Warriors (66-14) - 8:30 PM

There always seem to be that one D-League guy that's everybody's darling but never really turns out. I've been hesitant to jump on the Bolomboy bandwagon for that reason, but he displays a lot of natural basketball ability. I definitely think he has a spot in the league after watching him in his limited minutes these last few games.

I think he's a legitimate rotation guy next year. Reminds me of a better shooting version of Bismack Biyambo tbh. Think he can fill a similar role. Lots of energy, hustle and rebounds. Play him in the 4/5 rotation and send Lyles down to the D-league next year.

Game notes. . .

A. Rudy is damn good and the team's leader. Even with a rather quiet game, he still puts up 17 points, 18 rebounds and good, shot-altering defense.

B. All the bitching about George Hill is misguided. I hope they can afford to bring him back. It's a different team with him in the lineup.

C. The Jazz absolutely MUST retain Gordon Hayward this offseason. He's developed into a MAX player and #1 option. Pay the man.

D. Joe Ingles must also be retained. Hell, Jingles might need to be starting and have Hood spark off the bench. Jingles is so savvy. Offense. Defense. Locker room. Guy is a badass.

E. Love me some mother****ing Joe Jesus tonight. Iso Joe is the X factor for this team in the playoffs.

F. Exum is like an excited little puppy. He needs to learn when to speed up and when to slow down. And he needs to shoot thousands of threes this offseason. Hell, I'd throw a truckload of money at Chip Engelland just to have him work with Dante and Hood to make their shots consistent.

G. Gotta eat some crow on Mack. He's had a key role off the bench the past three wins. Hope he parlays it into a decent contract somewhere else next year.

H. Bolomboy can play. Reminds me of Bismack Biyambo. Liked him at the 5 tonight. Good defense. Certainly didn't look like a rookie getting his first look at extended minutes. Wouldnt be surprised to see him pop up in the playoffs if he keeps this up.

So Utah gets a big win over GS and still we got fans crybabying about Exum.

Funny.

his finishing has so far to go but man he played his little heart out today. Looking forward to a considerable jump from him next year.

Freaking awesome effort by all the boys Well earned 50 wins.

I'm not typically big on crap players, either, but my arguments for Bolomboy have been pretty sound. 1. He's an elite rebounder and he needs no touches to come on the floor to do that 2. His athleticism allows versatility in the lineup that he can play the 5 and offensively not be losing much because he's athletic enough to take what the defense may give him with alley oops, put backs, etc.

On another note that I don't use as a point for arguing for him nor do I think it's a reason you put him on the floor, but his possible three point ability is rather interesting. Through college he shot 37%. In the D-league he's shooting 47% on 44 attempts. He's made 1/4 so far with the Jazz.

Thought maybe you meant Bolomboy > Green. Rudy looked like DPOY. Green looked like a bitch.

His laughing on his flop and holding his fist up as he ran down the court after that Ingles foul... it's a family forum...

I actually liked Exum tonight aside from the missed 3s, he played extremely hard and I loved his effort. I think I prefer him at the 2 next to hill or maybe even neto.

Jingles should start over Hood imo.

Strange to me these days athletes getting paid millions of $ can't afford to go get eye lasik.

With my astigmatism I've been told I'm not a candidate for lasik.

Some people can't get lasik.

Whether it be at the bar, by the pool talking to some girls in bikinis, or partying with models on the French Riviera or playing mahjong and smoking opium in a Ho Chi Minh whorehouse or tonight against Golden State, Fat Boris bring his super fat A game.
