Utah Jazz considering changes to starting lineup

Interesting the defense gets the blame, no doubt somewhat justified, but one missed shot after another by our offense is even more to blame, IMO.
I still think switching CJ to our starting unit and Raja Bell to our 2nd unit would actually help both units. With the 2nd unit CJ throws up way too many quick shots, IMO, instead of working with the rest of the team. The combo of Raja, AK, and Jerremy Evans would get us plenty of offense, as Watson and Fes are also good passers. Hopefully Evans is fully recovered and can play more consistant minutes.
Raja could take on more of a leadership role with the 2nd unit, and CJ would settle into more of a team game and contribute more consistantly to the 1st-team offense. That in turn could help them defensively too...

Replace AK with CJ for more scoring. Replace Sap with Fes for more defense. Give AK and Sap same minutes as before, but more with the second unit. Look how strong that will be.

Raja would not add scoring to the second unit, quite the opposite. Lets hope he finds his shot soon though.

AK has been one of our bright spots in the starting lineup. I would not take him out of the starting lineup.

Millsap is the one running our pick and roll with Deron right now not sure that's the right move either. I would love for them to take Raja out of the starting lineup but I actually rather have CJ on the 2nd unit or you will have no scoring off of the bench. I don't know what needs to happen but something needs to change as our starters are getting worked right now.

Maybe playing 12 of our next 14 at home will fix some of these problems. Maybe move Hayward to the starting lineup and Raja to the bench with CJ. Only play Howard for the 1st 5 minutes or so then take him out for CJ and later put Raja in for Ak. Just an idea, maybe give the kid a chance to play with the better players and not have pressure on him to really contribute much.

Hard to say what would help. Williams, Jefferson, and Millsap are definitely locked in. I would like to see Pogo (Evans) get more playing time, though. We need to develop his talent and having him receive a few Williams passes might help him and the team out in the long run. AK has been a bright spot and he plays better as a starter than he does off the bench, but I'd like to see Evans in there for the first four or five minutes just to see what effect it would have.

Could play both.

Maybe, but Evans and Kirilenko are both known for their length and we need to save a little of that for the second unit. However, I would like to see that starting unit against the Lakers, for sure.
