I never said they didn't still double. Just that Novak's presence makes things easier for the Jazz offense because it's an additional threat they have to account for, whereas they can just ignore Burke, Millsap, and Exum on the perimeter.

They subbed out Novak for Hayward so defensive focus of Mavs is still the same. I guess. You can ask why they don't play together. I don't know.

That's what makes this game just terrible. The Jazz have played laughable defense all game and Dallas has 79 points in the 4th with 3 mins left.
