Did you see the Golden State or Dallas game? We still don't defend the 3. We just chuck up a lot more 3s

I'd rather have Sloan's offense of getting easy layups and utilizing favors than watching our wings chuck away and Favors being the designated ball boy.

Pretty much this. Also, it's not like Jerry Sloan teams never shot the three ball... We shot plenty. Imagine Trey and Favors/Weenus/Gobert mastering Jerry's offense. /drool Park God out on a wing or have him creeping the baseline like AK used to do, and day-um, we'd be taking control of this here NBA.

Its funny to me that our starting lineup is full of "floor spreaders" but we dont have anyone to take advantage of the created space in the starting lineup.

Burks and kanter are really our only players that operate in the paint on offense and they are both sitting on the bench

I'm going to say it first: Brad Jones is Lindsey's guy. Proven coach in the D-League who was extremely successful and well-liked by his players. Highly-respected by both the Spurs and Jazz organizations, having coached the Flash before going to SA and winning a championship with their D-League team. Also the nephew (by marriage) of Jerry Sloan. I think his hiring was forced upon Ty. I just don't see it happening otherwise. Lindsey brought him over, he's developed a working relationship with the young players. I don't see Jerry returning to the bench, but as a consultant, he'd be very willing to help Jones (and I think Brad would welcome his advice). I think this is one of the reasons Lindsey was willing to let Hornacek move on without making a change for this season. He already has his COTF sitting on the bench.

I LOVE Sloan. Love him, love his coaching, love what he did for Utah.

Give it up with Sloan. I don't want him back. It's time to appreciate the past but move on. We can do better, and he shouldn't pull a Jordan in Washington to end his career.
