What's new

Utah Jazz Media Day (live stream)

I just caught the last few minutes of Will Hardy talking about improved defense.
- Guys just need be more competitive was the most repeated theme.
- Interesting of all the guys he called out Kessler as needing to be more than just a shot blocker

Based on the reporting I saw on RealGM, the Jazz are happy to do a buyout once Love finds a (playoff?) team that will sign him. Maybe since it appears there’s essentially no one else to play for, Love is cool being here.

Taylor Hendricks is apparently fully cleared for camp and the start of the season per Austin Ainge.
Kevin Love is entering his 18th season. He's about 6 months younger than Will Hardy.
Ryan Smith wants to curate the entire downtown area around Delta Center.
Lauri smiles like a guy making $47M.

This jives with what he said. He talked about the second apron rules being bad for veterans, and what I assume he means by that is good teams can't just pickup vets anymore and not worry about cap consequences. I'm sure he saw that as detrimental to him joining a winning team.

I'm sorry, but this Will Hardy discussion on "deserving minutes blah blah blah self-respect blah blah blah" was just comical given that he just threw dozens of games last year.
