What's new

Utah Jazz @ Miami Heat - 11/12/15 - 5:30pm ROOT

Our ceiling is championship. A top 10 defense and top 10 offense is what you need to be a championship team and we can get there. The rest is just luck and getting hot at the right time and having good matchups in the playoffs.

You heard it here 1st folks...

And may I die happy if that were the case!

I think that if you can't get straight who's a rookie on your favorite team, you shouldn't be able to debate things about said team.

Last game was Mo Williams, this game Tyler Johnson.

Bench guards tearing up our perimeter defense.

The complaints about "so and so should have taken the shot since so and so missed it" are ridiculous. Our team needs to function as one and whoever has the shot takes it.

Why are other's people opinion "ridiculous"? They might not be valid or lack some rationale but that doesn't mean your logic is better

Was in a thread with mostly heat fans, they were furious the entire game.. those runs the Jazz ripped off early in the game really seemed to set the tone.

Was a great game IMO. I love that style of play. No weak **** at the rim allowed!! Favors was regulating **** out there. Whiteside had his moments, I really thought 2 of the Whiteside blocks, possibly 3 were unnecessary.

The play where Hood tried to lay it up with his right infront of whitside, was ghastly... That was one of, what i'd call "know your personnel moments". Burke got blocked I thhink on the left side of the lane trying to sneak near the basket, that was unnecessary too. The turnaround 18-footer that Favors shot and was rejected was kind of a heat-check, I'm not gonna complain about that one too much - he played great.

I'll also add, Trey Lyles can't bite on every pump fake like that.. I wouldn't write him off though. Chris Bosh is a terrible matchup for him, but it's a good he's getting his feet wet -- It's not like Bookers doing much better on offense anyway.

I think the opinion of hindsight saying a player should have shot it is ridiculous. The funny part is that the player everyone was calling for (Burks) got the ball the very next possession and got a layup blocked. If Hayward hits the jumper, or Burks makes the layup, the Jazz win the game (if all else stays constant). So neither player made their clutch shot, so people start saying "Favors should have taken the shot".

It's all hindsight. Both Hayward and Burks had good looks, they just missed.
