What's new

Utah Jazz Players in the FIBA World Cup(in China)

It’s been the largest market in the league and been the Garden since forever. Who was the last person to take a chance on it? Was it hometown Kemba? Or hometown Tobias Harris? Oh, I know, it was Durant and Kyrie. Oh, wait. Maybe it was when Travis Knight signed. Oh, no, that’s when we lost our hometown guy to NY.
Melo. I agree Dolan’s one of the worst owners in all of sports and I hope he never sells the team. He’s the deterrent that prevents the Knicks from being another big market that poaches guys from small markets. I do wonder if the NBA will ever push him toward selling a bit(not that they could get him too) but sports media sure tries to push guys there.

Some thoughts from the game -

Kemba is reeaaalllyy freaking good. Haven’t watched him much before but super impressed. Him and Don are clearly the two best players. Both can get their shot whenever.

Kuzma has to hit shots. Given he’s useless at anything else.
Jaylen Brown is an athletic freak but really lacking in skill development
Plumlee is so out of his depth, Turner was pretty good tho, Rudy lite type player
Nobody else really impressed

Tatum didn't suck, on offense anyway. . .

He should probably not go near social media. Because you know people are sifting through whatever old posts he has made. I bet someone tries to Donald Sterling him before it is all over.

Listen I’m gonna troll a little more here. So I’m barely getting around to listening to Josh Hart’s podcast from last month with Donovan. Hart starts naming off the most wild fanbases in the league....”Utah,OKC,Portland....I can’t think of the 4th one I was gonna say”.....Donovan butts in “I’ll give the Knicks their credit this past year, I know they weren’t good, but like their fans..they were solid”. The Jazz won that game 137 to 116 Donovan....don’t try to act like the game you played there was anywhere near the atmosphere in those other arenas. Come on guys....I thought this was so fitting given my recent discussions with you all. It’s so obvious. He has to butt in and throw Knicks fans into the conversation...of all the fanbases our there the game where you beat them by 20 points was the atmosphere you needed to bring up? Lol. Oracle is the easy 4th listing here of best NBA crowds. Not red flags at all guys lol? Come on.

You’ve successfully managed to go from “OMG everyone needs to buy his shoes, vote for him online, like his tweets, etc. so he all knows how much we love him and we need to shower him with love and make him never want to leave” to “OMG he’s going to leave, I just know it. He’s leaving us for his home. He’s playing us. OMG how could he do this to me?”

It’s like the kind of dysphoria Robin Williams’ character felt in 24 Hour Photo. Or at least this:
