The Utah Jazz, winners of 8 straight, welcome Jea Crowder to the team for tonight's game in Portland. Will the Jazz extend the NBAs longest active win streak and beat their conference rival Trail Blazers to put them back at .500 for the season?

After the cut in the Detroit game, which required stitches after the game, I'd say he will suit up if there is anyway possible. We don't want him playing hurt however. We have seen too many times what happens when he is not effective. Some time off now to heal and avoid a long term issue is a much better option. It will be a tough game with or without him, and we really gotta hit our shots better than we did against Charlotte, but we can do this.

Pumped to see Jae Crowder in his first game as a Jazzman. Love the personalities on this team right now - really good bunch of guys to root for.

I'll be surprised if Ricky plays. Not a doctor but hip injuries are brutal, both from a pain and mobility standpoint. Unless he's honestly fine, I wouldn't mind if we rested him through ASB to get him right.

Jae could potentially bring another element to this team - especially in the playoffs.

Jazz can counter “death” lineups better than most.

Gobert/Favors
Crowder/Jerebko
Jingles/O’Neale
Mitchell/Burks
Rubio/Exum

Hustle and defense. Now that the offense is clicking, nobody wants to have to face Utah in the postseason. Having Donovan Mitchell is the key though. He’s the outlier that the Jazz have lacked since S&M.

Long signs 10 day. No Ricky? Oh well Long has convered on all of his 3pt attempts so far with the Jazz at a rate of 1 per minute. Sweeet!

Going to the game tonight, and I'm stoked. Hope Rubio can play. Could use his D against Lillard. I think Mitchell is due for a 30+ point game tonight.

My good omen post:

This last time The Jazz were this hot was February of 2010 which included an insanely improbable Sunday night win in Portland where Utah outscored The Blazers something like 33-10 in the fourth quarter and over time and included DWill shutting down Brandon Roy in the 4th quarter.

Meyers Leonard is gonna get a good look at a T-bone steak by sticking his head up a butcher’s ***.
