It seems like Hood just has a more efficient game in terms of how he gets into his shot. I actually think Hayward would work better as a second option.

Hayward has more shots. Hood is playing more on-ball playmaking duties, I wouldnt call that being "1st option".

Hayward is definitely better when he can play off-ball on possessions, I would call that "being 2nd option".
