It wasn't even that one call. The refs screwed the Jazz all game.

In particular I hope I never have to witness another screwjob like that 2nd quarter again.

Are you going to keep watching the NBA? Yes? Then you will definitely see a screwjob like that again.

He called the left leg kicking out which he saw, but not the contact on Hood's right thigh which was hidden from his view.

Really? He called a foul on Hood? I missed that. When did that happen?

He SHOULD have called the foul on Hood. But he didn't. The Ref screwed the Jazz over by not doing his job. His job is to call the fouls he sees. Not to see fouls, tell players he saw the foul, but not call it.

100% on the ref.

To defend the ref here is just silly.

Like the NBAtv analysts were saying, if the ref could see the play good enough to tell Hood that Hood stuck his leg out, then he should have called a foul on Hood. Then he should have met together with the rest of the refs to realize that Hood didn't stick his foot out and given Hood 3 shots.

The ref 100% screwed the pooch on this call. There is no excuse for the ref here. He sucked it up. He failed. He decided Hood committed a foul and the REF decided that the REF would determine the outcome of the game by NOT CALLING a game changing foul, because the REF decided he knew best how the game should end.

Inexcusable on the ref's part. It is not his job to determine the end of the game. It is his job to call the fouls he sees (which, in this case is Hood fouling the PHX player by sticking his leg out) and then meeting with the other refs to make sure he got the call right (which he didn't).

The ref decided he was bigger than the game, and that the ref should not call the fouls he sees, because the ref gets to decided how the game ends and who wins or loses.

The ref called what he saw. If the other 2 refs saw something different they should have pulled him aside and changed the call.

I see nothing wrong with what that ref did.

That ref called what he saw though.. the other refs should have pulled him aside and discuss it if they had a better angle on the foul.

Okay, I'm not doing this anymore. I feel like I'm having arguments with autistic children. Is there a mod or something that can perhaps do something about this Kanter trolling nonsense so I don't have to keep reading this garbage? If it's one poster, then fine, I can block him. But these guys are popping up randomly.
