Utah Jazz vs Phoenix Suns.... the gobert drinking game game

I logged in just to tell the Kanter fanboys to **** off. This is our Jazz board. It's not a Kanter board if you can't deal with the fact that some fans are going to sports hate Kanter, then leave and quit your trolling. Rant off

If he can't see it, he can't call it. It's like a truck driver with a sticker that said, if the car behind can't see the side mirror, the driver cannot see you.

The other refs should have pulled him aside if they had a better angle.

HOLY ****. Serious? The ref told Hood he stuck his leg out. That is a foul on the offensive player. If the ref told Hood he fouled PHX, why didn't he call it?

That's the point I'm trying to make. The ref told Hood he stuck his leg out and kicked the PHX player. That's a foul. He should have blown his whistle. If he had called a foul on Hood, like he saw and is supposed to, rules dictate the refs go to the replay to make sure that the foul was before the time expired. Rules also say that refs can confirm a foul, and set the clock at the correct time.

Had the ref done his job and called the foul he saw, they would have looked at replay, reversed the call and Hood gets 3 FT's.

There is no argument here. There is no grey area. I don't get what you aren't understanding.

Jazz got screwed by the reffs. That was clearly a foul on Hood.

I agree. All I'm saying is that ref was on the wrong side so he didn't see the contact. But the other refs should have pulled him aside to discuss if they had a better angle.

And that's the problem. The ref should have called a foul on Hood, because he told Hood that Hood kicked the PHX player.

He saw the left leg kick out, but didn't see the contact.

It was the wrong call, but other refs should have pulled him aside if they had a better angle. They didn't.
