Agreed, but we needed to pump out every bit of offense we had to make up for not having hayward and favors. It's unfair to expect Hill to produce points throughout 48 minutes, but it was what we needed to win.

c'mon man. he had a terrible rookie year and then missed all of last season with a devastating injury. just be glad he had a few good plays tonight. maybe there is hope.

I would have taken 8 minutes from Hill and given it to Exum. Exum played well in the second half in limited minutes. Hill looked worn out and really forcing things in the 4th. I also would have given Exum 5+ of Macks minutes. Exums defense is much better than Macks and I dont think the offense would have been a drop off. I am worried about Exum getting minutes when Hayward and Burk are back. Maybe Jazz want to show case Mack a little?

Actually I think Snyder was challenging Exum a little. If he doesn't go to the hole, he isn't going to play. When he got back in he went to the hole. I suspect he eats Mack's minutes on Friday.

As good as Lillard was, I felt that Crabbe and Vonleh were the ones that made the biggest difference. I mean the bench points were 38-16. That's not ideal.

I put a lot of that on QS the 2nd quarter rotation was awful.

If they continue to play Exum at SG instead of his preferred PG spot ,it will hold him back ...they need him behind Hill ,not Mack

Its not fair to play him 39 minutes in the first game of the season. We had plenty of solid players to give him a break to keep him fresh for the 4th.

Exum should get all of Mack's minutes. He was horrid. I hope we trade his ***.

Mack had a play where he completely left Crabbe open for a wide open 3. He got pulled from the game right after. That play was a huge part of that run the Blazers went on in the early 4th quarter.

Also, I think that is as good a game as Portland can give. Everything went their way and we were right there without perfection.
