Utah Jazz vs Washington Wizards - Monday January 17th, 2011

Wes

The most frusturating thing is thinking about what we could be with someone with Wesley Matthews still in the lineup. The guy might have some off shooting nights, but he ALWAYS shows up. Him and Deron would have been electric this year. I love Raja Bell's attitude but he just simply is not as talented. I still wonder why we didn't match especially with Andrei's salary coming off the books next year. I guarantee there is a little doubt in the front office about that decision.

You can't play like dump for 3 quarters and expect to beat anybody. This team is just too stupid to learn this principle so now they're going to have to learn it the hard way.

Unfortunately, it's games like these that can really come back and haunt you at the end of the season. Dumps like these when we just "forget" to show up will determine whether we have HC in the first round and who we play.

In addition, these types of games really expose our weaknesses. Raja and AK would've been more effective in suits behind the bench. How many more games to these guys need to suck in before we bench one of them?

CJ chucker came back down to earth with his 3-10 performance. Millsap was overmatched with a bigger more athletic player.

Anyone else here still think that McGee is overrated? The dude in just 24 minutes nearly outrebounded our frontline.
Yes, McGee is overrated. His physical tools may be underrated, but not sure about that brain of his.

Don't let our local media hacks fool you. Deron never said the Jazz don't know how to run the offense, it was part of a much bigger quote concerning slow starts and what they lead to.

Deron came out slow tonight. He was walking the ball up the floor on every play. That is how the jazz got off to such a slow start.

Why does Deron always want to walk? Jerry is always telling him to push the ball, but Deron doesn't want to

The team's best player was only the best player on both teams today. Get out your pitchforks.

Well I can't say I am surprised. Jazz seem to suck the first game on Eastern road trips. However, championship teams don't lose to teams like the Wizards. Not that the Jazz have proven they are championship caliber. Losing a game like this is the reason why Utah always manages to be a fourth or fifth seed. I am definitely hoping that Utah management makes a deal to improve our SG/SF position.
