What's new

Utah loves Dante Exum at 5

It's not hard to see why the Jazz like him. The Jazz get destroyed on pick and rolls and being able to switch with a big PG like Exum makes life so much easier for them.

Long not big. 188lbs is very small in NBA.

According to this video he's a weak PNR defender.

I just don't see anything speacial about Exum. I try to reserve judgment because there's so little video of him floating around.

would be very surprised if exum started ahead of burke. i don't think drafting him makes alec or trey surplus to requirements... yet. give them a couple of years together and then decide who to move.

Not sure what I think of Exum at this point. While I understand arguments both sides of the debate, I don't follow enough of what is going on to have a strong opinion.

Honest question, please don't misunderstand what I am trying to ask.

There are some very good players to come straight out of high school to the NBA that were consensus top picks, specifically LBJ comes to mind. I would imagine the same competition arguments would apply to basically any high school player. Is the difference the clear talent level of Lebron, the exposure in the US, talent of High school in some places here vs elsewhere?
