Utah Trade Deadline Discussion

Ainge is a stingy **** though. Probably offering two 2nds with protections...

Maybe, maybe not. Hard to tell. I guess he can hold onto all those picks and hope the Pelicans take 5 of them for Davis. At this point, I'm just trade deadline fatigued. I just want to win this stupid Memphis game, watch who we pick and move the heck on. And I love trades.

I have a really bad feeling we aren't going to do anything and then say - well, we didn't have an offer we liked then go lose in the first round of the playoffs 4-0 or 4-1 then lose Favors for absolutely zilch in the summer.

It's the same thing we did with Jefferson, Millsap, AK, etc., etc. We barely got anything for Boozer.

Much much better than taking on salary and players we dont want.

Ainge is a horse trader. I wouldnt deal with him on any type of transaction.

Ainge slides live eels down the horses throat and puts burs under the saddle to make an old nag seem lively.

If he was flipping houses you'd have to pull the carpet to look for mold.

He makes average nba players look above average and fringe players look like rotation players. He inflates their value, then trades th em away.

I hope not. I don’t think that’s what JJ means by playoff team unless they’re buying him and and trying to get off Chandler’s last year. I’d rather not pick up Chandler for next year for $12M.

Favors has trade value right now. We should cash in on that unless we have a very strong feeling he is extremely important to our current window and he's staying at a fair price. Not trading him when we know he's gone is just poor decision making for a small market franchise not known for signing big names.
