What the hell is up with all the transfers? It seems every year we lose a couple including our best players. This year in the span of a month have lost half their team (6 players). Is this normal for most college teams?

Couldn't tell you if it is that normal but I'm in the belief it is on the high side that is for sure. Last year I was disappointed the Clybourne and O'Brien left the rest couldn't careless. This year losing both of the two PG's Hines (would be a SR) and Kareem Storey (would be a Soph) bug me a little the rest again couldn't careless that they left.

The word from Riley is they left this time more because of the writing on the wall with the incoming recruits should take there minutes and in some cases spot as they didn't have enough open spots left as it was. So Hines and Storey would've only provided backup or mop up minutes but the depth would've been nice to have.

But that is more what Riley was saying I don't honestly know how good this incoming recruiting class really is, including the few players that had to sit last year due to NCAA xfer rules.

It made sense last year with the coaching transition, but now it might again reflect a bad coaching hire. I wouldn't mind Utah basketball being good again, the NCAA tourney is certainly more fun to watch when more local teams are playing it, but it's going to take a while. You want to lose guys early to the draft, not transferring.

Although, I think you guys should do BYU a favor and take back Josh Sharp. He looks a little iffy.
