It's even easier when you rely on the opinions of the professional bodies who have the expertise in such matters. Otherwise, it'sjust pointless bickering.

Not at all. First, I did not say the person was an idiot, I just labeled some of his ideas. Second, opinions can be wrong, and wrong opinions should not be immune to criticism.

Just saying.
 
Kicky, explain the difference between a person who believes they should of been born a different sex and a person who believes they should of been born a different race.

The question itself displays that you don't understand the fundamentals of gender identity expression. Those have been relayed on this board too many times to count. It's pointless to go over them with you again.

Even the phrasing of "believes they should of been born a different sex" (sic) indicates a fundamental non-understanding of the concept.
 
I just wish the day would get here when we can except people for being just the way they are.

I should have listened to Moe.

1- Within these bodies of "professionals" you have differing opinions. Lets just say you go with the majority... does that mean they are right?
Any argument worth listening to, or following must be based on a principle of truth that is solid and unwavering.
People, Professionals, and opinions change so often that basing your opinion on a consensus is a waste of time.
Unless the opinion of said professional body is based on solid truth, the opinion is not on a solid foundation, and is a waste of time.

Of course not all opinions are create equal. "mine" is always the best one whether you like it or not. Usually you can find something useful in an argument if you try, and overlook the methods used. Of course if you dont care, you have already made up your mind.

You are right. Opinions are not immune to criticism.

Did you pay for the 5 minute argument, or the whole 1/2 hour?
