Watching the Mavs and Thunder play...

I think it's just a matter of time. Is there currently a bigger headcase out there than Westbrook? That includes Artest.

Was just wondering if anyone noticed that when Durant got blocked at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime, Westbrook did not hold his screen. He let the man thru so he could go to the 3 point line, so he could be the hero instead of Durant.
The problem is there with Westbrook for everyone to see. This desire to be known as the best player on the Thunder by Westbrook will probably prevent them from ever winning a championship.

Something will break. It's obvious to me that Westbrook and Durant cannot co-exist. Westbrook is going to bail to become "the man" somewhere else.

Which will be better for them anyway. Harden is a better playmaker and winner than Westbrook. They need more complimentary pieces and fewer egos.

I don't know, they could really use a big that's anything besides a garbage-man on offense and they might have TOO MANY complimentary pieces. They just need to be short one PG that makes his teammates worse if they need to be short anything.

I'm not saying this as a Jazz angle at all, but it might be wise for them to trade Westbrook into the top-3 for Kanter. I think that makes a lot of sense for them (but is definitely a gamble).

I agree!

I guess I was just going off on Westbrook. He's a terrific talent. Outside of Rose, who's more gifted physically at the point guard spot in the entire league?

yet, he's got one nasty vibe. Arrogant, refuses to run the offense, angry, classless, selfish. I noticed that every OKC player stayed on the court to talk to the mavs... But Westbrook. The leader, the PG, took off and left for the locker room alone.

Pretty indicative of OKC's state right now. The Thunder doing one thing. Westbrook doing the other.

If I were them I'd pull the trigger asap to send Westbrook packing and bring in Kanter. Let Maynor and Harden run the point. Get Durant into the weight room. And teach him how to get the ball inside the 3 pt line.

Yeah. And isn't Harden just ****ing awesome? You don't need three guys on the perimeter trying to make plays, with Harden and Durant, they could get away with a PG in the Fisher/Kerr mold and be fine, IMO. Add a big that can make something happen and that's a potent-offense.

Actually, nevermind. I don't need to pontificate what could make them unstoppable.
