We need a new starting PG

I was VERY down on Harris at the start of the season. I didn't think he looked like he gave a single **** about playing well or winning. In April I had to eat a bit of crow as he was playing pretty good but in these last two playoff games he looks like he did the first 2/3's of the season.

Playoff averages: 24.5 mins, 31% shooting, 6pts, 1.5 ast, 3.5 TO's..........all that for roughly 9mil.

Sure, its the Spurs, sure its Tony Parker, but jesus man, look alive!

This team, with the young talent we have, desperately needs a floor general and leader (by example wouldn't hurt either). Until then our offense will continue to look stagnant and lost the majority of the time..............................IMO.

I blame all the talk about bringing in another PG when he was playing well, making him feel unwanted. J/K

I agree he has regressed to what he looked like at the beginning of the season and not that the Jazz would win the series but Harris has to play very well for the Jazz to even win 1 game. Not sure if he slumped, got a playoff nerves or if he had a change of attitude about something or the coaching staff is going away from him so he's pouting. Whatever it is I hope it ends Sat. night.

Harris and Jefferson are essentially mirror images of one another - they're both talented, both good guys. But I have serious questions about how much they really want it deep down.

I'm glad they at least got a shot; but I pretty much feel the same way about them now that I felt about Boozer and Okur 2 years ago. They've taken this team as far as they're going to take them. It's time to move them both. And the time is optimal - they're both coming off very solid regular season finishes, they're both in their prime and they're both coming into expiring deals.

This should be job one for KOC during the offseason.

Hahaha

LMFAO

You think either one of them will be moved? You havent caught on to this team's tendencies have you?

KOC is going on vacation this summer . You havent heard?

I was trying to point out that when the Jazz lost this year, our PGs were always outplayed by a wide margin. Our front court normally delivers points and rebounds at a respectable rate and outperforms the other teams. However, our backcourt, especially PG, gets outplayed just about every night. Harris hasn't done anything in this series, and it's not like Parker is a big-time defender.

I'm half convinced that the reason Harris finally came alive was because of the looming trade deadline. Did he try to play himself outta town? Is he hoping for a offseason deal? I'm afraid of what happens if he isn't dealt.

I can't really blame him... I don't think he's been utilized as well as he could have been.

In other words, yes, Harris is done here in my book. He's a limited player that isn't able to do the things he does well. Hopefully we get something for him.

IMHO harris isnt the one to blame on defense.
he fights to picks he cant help it all jefferson and pimpslap SUCK at pick and roll defense.

and on offense now that howard is back we have 2 ballhogs on the court, so yeah harris has nothing to do now but rbing the ball up. because hayward is also a playmaker. so yeah he and millsap are odd man out on offense(hayward creating for millsap howard and jefferson)

jsut like linsanity once the ballhog crymello and stoudemire came back, it all went south

I'm hoping we bring in Dragic this summer. He's a realistic option, relatively young and seems to have a DESIRE to win.

For some reason I get the sense that I'd hate Dragic by his second season here. Just a hunch.
