What's new

We signed Emmanuel Mudiay

I want to say someone described Devin Harris as the guy that always tries to hit a home run, even when his team only needed a single.

I think Exum's that guy. Only his version of striking out gets him injured.

I don't understand what you are saying sorry.
I'm simply saying that I don't think lots of teams are looking for crappy overpaid players on long term deals.
Did we do something this off-season that changes that way of thinking?

Draft assets aren’t as valuable in the big picture if you can sign free agents (and if you already have a knack for developing players). AKA: **** it, send compensation.

This is what I’ve been saying. You don’t need to groom and invest in these type of guys, you simply sign them for the minimum in free agency. Time to DedEx overnight to someone who doesn’t know this.

zero risk potentially high reward. sums it up perfectly.

it's a basically a Pelican/Julius Randle type of deal. min money. high upside. if we don't like him, he'd be gone by the end of the season. if we like him, he may stick around longer than Conley. we simply can't lose in this deal.

I agree, but Pelicans/Randle was 2yrs 18 million though

This was an out of the blue signing. Is he replacing Neto?
Gotta keep up son...........Neto was like SO yesterday. He gone to fit Conley under the cap.

Vets getting squeezed and Zanik just scooping them up.
Can Mudiay help? Who knows. But it's a decent value signing. Rather have him than Nyeto.

Probably last chance for exum to do sth. if he sucks or gets injured, jazz will give up on him I bet

Anyone that’s not happy about signing a 23 year old double digit scorer with good athleticism on a minimum contract can **** right off.

Imagine Exum, but instead imagine he’s actually shown something in an NBA game. Also imagine Exum, but instead of paying him $9 million, he’s on a minimum contract. That’s Emmanuel Mudiay.
