What's new

Well, the good news is Rubio will definitely not be back next year.

Rubio had his shot. Exum and Neto were injured for most of the year. Snyder gave Rubio plenty of good looks in our offense. He let him play through inconsistent play and incessant turnovers. Our offensive scheme gave Rubio easy shots for most nba players. He just airballed them. Case in point, that last shot against Houston. It was an easy look for most nba guards these days and needed to be nailed.

Not sure why Rubio would be butt hurt.

If anything, utah revived his career after the Minnesota disaster.

The 2016 D-League ROY... The ppl laughing at the g-leauge are gonna look like complete fools in just a few years... The level of competition in that league is increasing drastically compared to pro leagues across the planet.

for all the stat whores out there, there's certainly a high-degree of ignorance about the prevailing stats of the G-League and the affect their players have on NBA rosters.

That gif should be posted in response to what the Jazz did instead of go after Quinn Cook... Ricky Rubio and the 2016 1st rd pick are sunken assets, while the champs are turning others trash to treasure...

I find your 'homey knows' statement laughable. No discredit to the g-league. As for Cook, he is just a role player who has a decent 3pt shoot. I'd rather have Royce.

Of course you would. Royce is our 4th-best guaranteed player.

He seems he truly loved it here (unlike Minny where it was always dysfunctional), thus he was disappointed we tried really hard to trade him. And he is an emotional player. At the end of the day, he probably said good things about Utah but we have been unable to read the whole interview.

What he's saying doesnt really make sense. It's several years (and several spots on the depth chart..) off the timeline of what im referring to.

It holds as much weight as me saying I'd rather have 1946 Rita Hayworth hangin arround the crib instead of this slut i'm currently seeing.

Snyder's system sucked *** for Rubio individually and I have no doubt that if he gets to go to a fast paced team he'll look a lot better than he did for most of his Jazz stint. I'm very interested to see where he goes I think he'll be a good fantasy pickup with the right team
Didn't he have his best season's in the NBA playing under Quinn's system?

Looked it up, He really did. Highest PPG, 3pt%, FG%, 3ptA/game, FGA/game. The only stat he got worse in was Assists.

That's a credit to Rubio the player who is in his prime, but I don't see how you can look at the positions Rubio was in and think "this really suits his strengths"

Mr Sandman I think what you’re trying to say is that in an offence that is half court heavy and is predicated on creating open looks Mr Rubio with his dubious shooting has sucked the sweat off a dead man’s ********* no ??

So what system would? Apparently this system didn't yet he played better than the other systems he played in. I'm not convinced that there is a system available in the NBA that suits the strengths of a perimeter position player that can't shoot.

Philadelphia. Philadelphia is the answer you are looking for. You will need 4 guys who are, at worst, borderline all stars though. . .
