Ya jokic has clearly claimed the top spot. And it's his efficiency that is doing it for me. He always puts up gaudy points, boards, and assists numbers but he had become quite a bit more efficient so far this year.

And some of the other guys had fallen off a little bit while jokic has gotten even better recently

Yeah it has been very impressive. He is making a case for being the best basketball player on the planet right now. I forgot to mention, his 55 pt double double game the other night, he did it in less than 3 quarters, 33 minutes to be precise. 1.7 points per minute on the court. And his eFG was 89%. Absolutely insane.

Updated comparison. Jokic is really pulling away here. I added in Luka because he is playing crazy good right now, pretty much just behind Jokic, imho. But Jokic's BPM is insane, just crazy. Double both Luka and Giannis and the Nuggets have the 2nd/3rd best record in the league (tied with Detroit with only 2 losses, behind OKC with only 1 loss). Honestly in this group I would put Shai 4th. Solid and impactful, but not god-tier.
