I think the most I ever bet on one game was like $1,200. I vaguely remember it. Think it was a Ravens at Colts Sunday night game. I think it was about 2001. Maybe 2002. Possibly 2000. I can’t remember if I won or lost though tbh. I think I lost.

if you don't remember... then you lost.

I have a buddy that has $5K on the 49ers... he says he made it all off of $1k during the playoffs so its found money... I have watched him gamble in Vegas and he went way into the hole and said he was actually up, but it happened after we went to bed... I do not believe him.

Oh well, casinos are different. I’ve lost $5,000 in 20 minutes there. Then $5,000 one week later, again in 20 minutes.

Also, I built my betonsports (NASA Intl. iirc) from $2,000 up to $21,000 back in 1999. I think that was the year. The Yanks lost seven games in a row near the end of the season and then finally won. With seven games left in the season, I started betting them big thinking there’s no way they would lose seven more in a row and 14 of 15. They did. I continued to pound them. They lost the first two games against the A’s in the playoffs and I was done. Of course, they came back, won games 3-5, and went on to win the World Series.

I’d usually agree with you but honestly, it’s just been so long and I’ve bet so much, I simply don’t recall. Ill look it up. I’m pretty positive I bet the Colts.

Not the same kind of stage fright, but back in the Delta Center days I was in middle school or high school and had to pee really bad. Huge line. Back in those days, there were no privacy stalls, just a bunch of urinals that stood like 2 feet off the wall, so as the massive line backed up into the hall, so stood with a baseline view of everyone peeing. It got me really nervous and when the time came, I pulled out and ended up standing there, nervous about someone watching me essentially whip it out and do nothing. So I waited about how long it would normally take to pee, zipped up, and left.

Pretty sure that wouldn’t happen now.
