There were a LOT of iffy calls one way and noncalls the other, but honestly the Jazz looked a step slow on defense all game.
A lot of Utah's defense this year is predicated on getting set in the half court and that is harder to do when you miss a lot of threes and the other team bolts down the court- it's exactly the kind of thing that can lead to a big freethrow disparity.
That's what it seemed like to me anyway, bad offense leading to bad defense and so on. It also didn't help that we didn't really run much to counter the Rockets switching defense. For now I'm chalking this one up to guys just not getting up for this game, it happens.
