It would seem the jazz turnaround was shorter than those scenarios as well. Really good try. You almost had it.Had Cleveland won game 6 on Friday, they would have had less than 40 hours between series. That's two possible occurrences within a single playoff year, and there would have been more if more playoff series were extended.
You insulted me often enough that I decided to check 2017. On Friday evening, 2017-APR-28, both the Wizards (playing at Atlanta) and Celtics (playing at Chicago) won game 6 and finished their series Friday night. Less than 40 hours later, both teams played other in the early game on Sunday (in Boston, so a time zone jump east for the Celtics), both of them while traveling. So it happened twice just last year.
