What a Jackass

132 mph+ is now the speed investigators are estimating though I thought I read figures as high as 140mph too.

Sad as it may be, Ebert's right. However, I'm not sure his tweet is productive in any way, other than a negative one at this point and I tend to think he could have bypassed Twitter and written a more formal article (see above) at a later juncture.
The timing of the tweet was bad, even if he is right.
I agree with both of you. The timing was poor, even if Ebert was right (and I think he was). Twitter wasn't built for long explanations and subtlety, and that's what's needed when making a dig on someone who just ate it, even if it was his fault.

I'm sure this is something Ebert is sensitive to, since he himself has been in AA for 30 years. He wrote a good blog entry on the subject.

I am with most of you above and think that Ebert had it correct, but as they say, timing is everything. The timing could not have been worse, other than during a eulogy.

So his BAC was just a mere 0.196. At least I'm sure he was enjoying the fine pleasures of alcohol for its refreshment and social qualities.
