What About Reupping Sloan and Johnson?

How about Hubbie Brown? Larry Brown? Hey Adelman just retired too, maybe we can talk him into coaching Jazz?
Seriously, enough is enough, we need young fresh blood, not some old dinosaurs with dementia.

STFU and show some respect you little...... Your not worth getting an infraction. You can fill in the blank!

You can run the system without being old or new school. Johnson would run the same system and utilize it to the strength of the team. Sloan showed this when John and Karl left, and Williams and Boozer and Memo came in. I've always felt Johnson's coaching style was different from Sloans. Don't be so one dimensional in your thinking. Just because Johnson was Sloans main assistant for so long doesn't mean he will do everything the same as Sloan did.
Maybe. But Johnson is older than Jerry. I just don't see him as an option. My post was mostly referring to Sloan, because I don't see Johnson as being interested or having the stuff that Lindsey will be looking for. He's not looking for an older guy to teach analytics to. He's probably going to want a guy who believes in it like he does. At least IMO.

Letting Ty go is finally the death nail in the Jerry Slaon regime. We need a new coach that doesn't have ties to Jerry Sloan. We need new thinking for a new time. Hail DL!

I would just say no to Jim Boylan. He's already been run out of Salt Lake City on a rail once. Here are four potential names: The Phoenix Assistant and there is already a thread on that. Alex Jensen of course who almost won the Vegas Summer League with a bunch of DLeaguers and is a former DLeague coach of the year, Brian Gates who is a New Orleans Assistant, a former assistant to Krysko in the minors, has won a DLeague championship as a head coach and fits the money ball situation and the current DLeague coach of the year for the Fort Wayne Mad Ants.
