Shocker. Someone who is paid to push a progressives' agenda thinks non-progressives can do unsavory things. The reality in data is: 95% of antisemitic incidents motivated by Israel’s policies were perpetrated by far-left or unidentified activists. Just 5% were perpetrated by known far-right activists. There are currently two members of Congress who have been censured for their Antisemitism, both are democrats.
I'm not saying all democrats or all leftists are Antisemitic. Far from it. I think most on the political left are repulsed by it, and Joe Biden did the fastest 180 I've seen him do after being roundly criticized by his own party for threatening to withhold already approved military aid from Israel. There is a tiny but very vocal group on the left who hate Jewish people, and other lefties need to continue to call them out. Lame attempts to distance the left from Antisemitism by claiming Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar are Trump supporters only hurts credibility. They are bigots. They are on the left and they need to be ostracized.

In the analogy, Biden would be the weak President and Yahya Sinwar would be the Hitler figure who wants to see the Jews eliminated. Trump is saying that the way to stop the fighting is for a strong President to take out Yahya Sinwar rather than trying to placate him as Chamberlain did with Hitler.
People do make fun of Biden speaking and people mock your cluelessness, both for good reason.

Genuinely curious, was there a single autocratic leader that Trump bullied? I seem to remember him being bulldozed by Putin, Kim, and Xi. I guess he did tell Merkel off and tweeted mean things about the mayor of London. But it’s weird how he talks big like he’d do something to Hamas when he thought meeting with Al Qaeda at Camp David was a good idea:

Zelensky got in to office and unilaterally cancelled elections, which makes him autocratic. I don't personally think it was bullying but your favorite outlet does:

Now with Weekend at Bernie's in the Oval Office, North Korea is ramping up weapons production with large shipments going to support the Russian war effort.
The same nice-talk allegation has commonly been used against Trump with regards to Putin, but Putin didn't invade any of his neighbors while Trump was there. Under Obama, Putin was killing tens of thousands in his conquests. Under Biden, Putin is killing hundreds of thousands in his conquests.
Iran too was well contained. Laugh all you want at Trump's methods, but the results are undeniable. The world now is a more dangerous place thanks to morons who believe making mean public statements is the best strategy for diplomacy.
The problem with MTG is that she is a moron whose insult-laden grandstanding is destructive even to right-leaning causes. What you all seem to want is an MTG-style President whose target is international bad actors. Grow up.

The first quote here is doing what you often do. Seeing if you can find a clever(you failed) way to hint that someone you don’t agree with needs to think about whether they are aligning with evil. Whereas my support of Biden has nothing at all to do with hatred of Jews, and I could never support anti-Semitism. Does not matter to you, you like to see if you can align liberals and progressives with the darkest evil that lurks in the heart of Man. Not the first time. Foolish goal, I think, but no surprise.

I never said, nor for the briefest of moments, thought it. My point is that in 2024 95% of Antisemitic incidents motivated by Israel’s policies were perpetrated by far-left or unidentified activists. Just 5% were perpetrated by known far-right activists. It only makes the problem worse to pretend in 2024 that Antisemitism is a disease of the right. Nearly all of it is on the political left now, and the good people of the political left need to call out those on the left engaging with it even if it means they might lose the election for making such a principled stand.

This is a damn good thread and I’ve expressed similar thoughts as well. Republicans can write off over half the country. They can call fellow citizens vermin, human scum, and worse. They can attack our major cities and cultural centers nonstop. Yet, if you dare question their intelligence, morality, or poor voting practices? Heaven help you. You see it happen to a certain extent on this board. Trumpers can troll, insult, and demean others on here nonstop yet they’re the ones that must be coddled, respected, and pandered to. I’m old enough to remember the tiki torch guys doing battle with antifa. In fact, I remember one of the tiki torch guys driving into a crowd of left wing protesters in Charlottesville. But if the tiki torch guys who started the “unite the right” rally were actually leftists and those left wing protesters were also leftist, then why were they battling each other?
Remember how Trump said that there were “very fine people on both sides?” How can there be “both sides” if they were all left wing?
Basic critical thinking skills folks.
This just goes to show the trump ball washers on this website are stooping to new lows in order to defend their god and identity.
