What are they sayin about the Jazz in Beantown?

More recent Celtic quotes:

Red Auerbach said:
Sloan's teams are terrific. The way they cut and execute the offense is textbook. It reminds me of my teams from the sixties, the way we kept fighting and scraping.

Reggie Lewis said:
Anytime you play Utah, you know you're going to come away with bruises and scratches.

Could be, Blood, but what the hell duz Auerbach know? Ya really need to ax S2, if ya wants the straight-up truth of the matter, ya know?

True. Auerbach would have played KouFes. Instead, Sloan held the team back be keeping two phenomenal, all-world talents chained to the bench. Just look at how well Fes played when he got his opportunity. He was the only player on the team against the Lakers with a positive +/-, and that is all anyone needs to look at to understand how unstoppable Fesenko is. Sloan playing Boozer and Millsap together was a gigantic lapse in judgment. They didn't have positive +/-.

Talkin bout fightin, scrappin, Beantown, and all, good ole Dave Cowens mighta been the closest thang to Sloan that I can recalls.

Edit: Well, except for Sloan's own O.G. homey, Stormin Norman Van Lier, a course.

Non sequiturs, Kicky? I resemble that!

Robinson/Mello = Sloan/Maravich, like the zak same thang, I figure.

Now, if ya really wanna go talkin non sequiturs, it would be, like, startin offa Boston thread with a Rick Adelman quote, or sumthin, I figure.

Why not just have one giant thread dedicated to aint spamming the board with quotes from Genghis Khan and anyone else who ever might have said or thought something positive about Jerry Sloan at one point or other? Then aint will have one place to go when he feels like talking to himself.

Aint, er I mean One Brow, er I mean, Hopper, what happened to Jazzfan_2814? I noticed One Brow made a post right after Aint, er I mean Hopper in another thread. Back to old days of Aint it looks like. He's got CJ beat by a mile with his posts this time. Gee, I wonder what Hopper, er I mean, Aint, er I mean One Brow does with his life besides hang out at Jazzfanz. He must've gone nuts when the site crashed. But then he already was nuts.
