What's new

What do Utah, Portland, Indiana, Phoenix, Charlotte, New Orleans, OKC all have in common?

Better than no pick at all doe

I guess but it doesn't excite me in terms of proper compensation for losing a franchise tagged player. Picks in the late 20's usually have a 10% (or less if I remember correctly) of becoming an everyday rotational player. Dennis Lindsay seems to hit gold in the 20's but that's an exception, not the rule.

Maybe the NBA should institute not only a franchise tag, but a compensatory pick system as well. It could go like this: If Hayward was tagged and signed with Boston, the Celts lose their #1 pick and the Jazz are given a Comp pick that is inserted somewhere into the 4-10 range depending on some predetermined parameters. Not only does it help small market franchises in the era of super teams, it could also help the NBA with the tanking problem.

Folks... Lograd is back. His predictions we're 100% accurate last year. Like, not making the playoffs, missing out on paying a 4 yr contract to get that Weiner that went to the pelicans and sucked, not having a winning season, having no direction, win prediction. The log is back. Prepare your log ladies...

Why did you pick those teams?

Milwaukee and Minnesota are the same types of cities, but they didn't fit your narrative so you ignored them.

Utah doesn't fit the narrative either, come back when Hayward leaves.

Phoenix is an extremely exciting team, that has only farmed out the corpse of Stoudemire.

Charlotte?
OKC had 3 super stars and blew it, that's their fault. They still have one.
Portland lost... Aldridge? What a huge loss, how will they ever recover?
