What Free Agents Do You Like?

Another reason why Jimmer love is ridiculous and only brought up by BYU fans: Brandon Davies might be a better pro than Jimmer, yet no one ever brings his name up.

At least Davies can get on the floor more often than Jimmer can.

Unreal. Let Jimmer fade into the Euroleague peacefully.

Jimmer is just fine as a floor spacer. I am only talking about a 2nd or 3rd pg. Jimmer > JL3

They both add the same amount of net positive on the court, which is a negative, but JL3 is a locker room presence.

JL3 > Jimmer

Liked that idea. He could really find his game in Europe.

Btw the main reason for Jimmer attracting people was/is his shooting ability. It was a sweet dream thinking him with a decent all around game(which isn't expected anymore in hindsight) with his great shooting range. People just can't/don't wanna leave that dream.

The fact that Van Horn, Chambers, Miller, Doleac, Lilliard, etc are all better pros by a long shot, than Jimmer, yet he has had more coverage than all of them combined...and people keep bringing him up shows how ridiculous the Jimmer love is.

I take it you don't remember the Marshall/Russell for Van Horn rumors or all the people wanting Van Horn. I suppose you also missed when people would mention Doleac as being a legit option at the 5. Surely you've forgotten about all the people that wanted Andre Miller to be the guy to eventually replace Stockton. Must have also missed two years ago when everyone wanted Lillard. How about the fact that Randy Livingston's name was even brought up? What about Bogut?

The point is, these guys got coverage when there was at least a small chance of them being attainable... Kind of like how obtaining Jimmer has always been reasonably possible.

I would venture to guess that 3/4 of the time Jimmer is brought up here it's in a negative context. Also, who are all the BYU basketball fans? I know I'm not one.

Oh jeez. Come on now. Let's be realistic here. What players from the state of Utah have accomplished MAJOR things this year? Two:

Lilliard and Miller.

Yet, Jimmer is the one that is covered constantly. He has done NOTHING. Not once. Miller is moving up All Time lists, Lilliard is one of the NBA's best, and yet we hear next to nothing about that. Jimmer gets two minutes and hits a three? Major news.

I like the list, great names there, former NBA or collegiate starz.
Temas need specialists, so shooter and rebounders are/would be on my watch-list.
There are really talented players there with low price tags.
Andrew Goudelock is a shooter, I would take a serious look at him; @ Jodie Meeks as well.
Bring in Andres Nocioni for a reasonable price for he will be a leader and inject some nuclear toughness into the Jazz's dead tissues.
I liked Jared Cunningham when he was a beaver @OSU.

note: this was a scrubs-only post.

Because Lillard isn't attainable. A handful of people have mentioned Miller, even though he'll be out of the league soon. Jimmer gets brought up when news surfaces of him being on the market or being a FA.

Pretty sure we hear people complaining how if we lost our game to GSW we would have kept both our picks to be able to move up for Lillard.

Jimmer gets two minutes and hits a three? Major news.
