What Galls Me

In Burks last healthy year, he and Hayward were a virtual statistical dead heat.

It's different. Burks is a ball stopper and doesn't get his stuff in the flow of the game like Gordon does. I do think he comes back and plays better this year.

It pisses me off that not only did Gordon leave in a classless way and lead us along all the way when he could have been a man and been straight up, but on a personal level...

Checking my phone a lot yesterday pissed my wife off so she's pissy with me today... I am salty as **** today... very likely to fight someone for looking at me the wrong way.

I'm in the same boat...... er, doghouse

I don't think Burks has the Basketball IQ to be really successful in Quin's offense. Smart, unselfish guys do really well. Which is exactly the reason that I'm really excited about Ricky Rubio.

My wife works in a program that houses mentally ill, drug addicted, homeless young adults. I was home all day yesterday. Yet I had a much more stressful day and was in a much worse mood when I picked her up from work.

That has also been my concern. Although, he seems to pass well in the open court. Burks seems confused when working in the set offense. I think he can thrive if you give him isolations and work with him on dishing. He has no problem beating his man. It's basically how IT operates though IT is a better shooter, especially creating shots when pulling up.

Note, that is a comparison for the last two years when he has been mostly injured.

In addition to physical rehab, Burks could probably use a sports psychologist.

His numbers associated with finishing at the rim has fallen off a cliff since he returned.

He preaches no fear; but my guess is he's terrified of getting injured again.

Than Quin better change up his offense because we need to win. Offense should be molded for the players not for an IQ test.

Or he is being told to stand around an shoot 3's like the Warriors instead of play his game.

Marriage tip: Take your anger out on that home project you've been putting off that way she knows next time that good things can come from your Jazz addiction.

I'm in the same boat kind of...

I agree. It is like Boston totally anticipated doing a sign and trade to obtain Hayward. They had the assets to do it, they had a gluttony of SF on the roster and draft picks. I would not be surprised if Boston has been so reluctant to use assets in other trades because they thought they would need them to get GH. Yet he up and leaves, takes less for them and is gone... Meanwhile Boston has to drop assets and try to reduce salary because they have an embarrassment of players and assets and the Jazz are left with a gaping hole.

My gut tells me they want the assets to see if said asset becomes an apparent stud within a couple years or more likely, imo, for Anthony Davis.
