The comment on this video suggests that "...he (Evans) broke Dwight Howards(and the NBA) record for standing and running vertical jump." (Can't confirm that myself. Don't know the numbers.)

I am pretty sure that Dwight Howard's verts were never close to the records. I remember Antiono McDyess and Shawn Kemp having ridiculous numbers. Kemp in particular I remember something like a 45" max vertical.

This site claims that Jordan and Utah Jazz's very own, Darrell Griffith (Dr. Dunkenstein) are tied for the highest verts recorded, at 48" respectively.
