That's the point he's not boxing out. He's face up to his guy. If he was boxing out(using his ***) he could watch the damn ball. When he doesn't do this he doesn't contest at all.

I agree, but most teams would rather have our guys that back up williams and jefferson.

Corbin is the only one who values jeffy and marv more than kanter and burks.


Our vets will be hard to trade for anything good

He does though. I don't know about his ability to get up and yak on guys, but he has the ability to rebound. He's had significant, sustained stretches where he rebounded at elite levels, so for him to be the rebounder he is right now is kind of mystifying.

Just because he rebounded well, doesn't mean he can just go grab the rebound and not worry about boxing out like Favors can.

He rebounded at an elite level against second tier guys. Different story when you are going against 1st tier. He's not stronger than they are

Yeah. I think he wants him to get back on D on one end. And he wants the ball in a better passers hands on the other end. The worst part is this keeps favors from running the floor(when they are playing together) because he has to get the board and push the play.

Kevin Love is not more atheltic than Kanter and is one of the best rebounders in the league. Kanter is taller and longer than Kevin Love. Kanter did well against Players like Bynum in his first year and showed also he can rebound the Ball against players like Howard.

I do not think that his problem is about athleticism.

LW, are you serious or just trying somebody in here? How can you ignore his ability to use his rebound sniffing nose to grab almost every freckling r-bound?

If Corbin is the one who is telling him to push his man away from the board which causes him not to follow the ball, then this is a major disaster!
 
Who posted that story about Rodman watching his teammates' shots noting in head their movement and falling speed? Why would someone not allow Kanter to do that when he has the nose for it?

I know he doesn't have the same BB IQ but still...
