What is Alec Burks worth?

I like Burks, but he puts up numbers against bad team's 2nd units. I want him as a 6th man, not a starter. Indiana game proved that point. Just not as good against 1st units where he has to share play making responsibility. Not trying to diss him, but his game is best suited for a 6th man role.

in the 5 games hayward missed with alec replacing him, he averaged 19 ppg on 51% shooting, 3.5 rebs and 4 assists. he seemed to do just fine against starters.

Which he went for 20,5,4 in. Regardless, There are 20+ teams in the league that aren't elite defensively. Just because Corbin has painted Alec into a bench role doesn't mean that I don't think he could be at least, if not more than, an adequate starter.
