What is wrong with Gobert's Confidence and Aggressiveness?

Uh ya.....that's it. Rudy is struggling because he can't hold onto the god damn basketball. Nothing more, nothing less.
BS
He has always had a hard time holding onto the ball yet he was still getting double doubles with 2 or 3 blocks in most games.

Now he isn't. Nothing has changed as far as his ability to hold onto the ball. It's something else

Rudy will be fine. He was averaging a double double not long ago and the defense looked much better once he came back. The impact was immediate.

I don't think that he's fully healthy and I'd really like to see him focus less on the French team this offseason and more on his hands and offensive game. I'd really like for the Jazz to put him together with Mutumbo and Olajuwon this offseason. I think he'd soak up their veteran savvy and knowledge in positive ways.

Rudy will be fine. It's a slump, but not anything he can't overcome IMO.

Yeah, whether or not the fans believe the refs are giving Rudy a fair shake, I think he believes he's getting shafted by the refs, and that leads to discouragement. The other thing I noticed in the Blazer game was after Lilbastiard starting raining 3s, Rudy seemed frustrated and he seemed like he was starting to try to cover too much ground defensively, which lead to him getting beat where he might not have otherwise. I wouldn't call it lack of confidence so much as discouragement from ****ty calls and frustration with his teammates not being able to cover the 3 pointers.

This may be a really dumb approach but if there's a stretch when we have 3-4 mediocre teams in a row, mostly at home, I say sit him. Withey is solid and we still have Favors as a backside presence too not to mention Burks will be back soon so just overall team depth will be better. Again, that's probably a foolish approach but I feel like if he can sit and rest and rehab for 7-10 days (because it can't be that bad if he's playing as much as he is), then it will get significantly better. He won't be 100% better but the rest would def help.

Or limit him to like 24 minutes and let Withey play 24. It honestly wouldn't hurt much at all. Hell Withey is probably better offensively than Gobert.

A center like him grabbing 2 or 3 rebounds in a game is unacceptable even if he is hurt. This tells me that he is not only hurt but he also is not as fired up as he was last season.

I would say let him compete with someone else for the starting spot and he will come back.

But if he does not feel good about his last injury, just don't force it. Heck don't play at all unless you feel 100%. Injuries tend to come back worse if you come back before healing up fully.

Why not just make withey the starter, since he's negligibly different defensively and better offensively?

Because rudy is better than withey.
This is not debatable

I laugh at the drama after 2 or 3 bad games. Gobert still is among the best in the league defensively according to advanced stats...

Teehee

Was mostly facetious, but seriously also worried that the league will inevitably render him mediocre with his lack of offense and the way most teams can play small

You do not think small ball is affect by Giant in the paint? How u think small ball is played????????
