What next moves do you WANT to see?

Jazz still have one roster spot left after their recent flurry of moves, and have effectively used up the last of their cap space. They still have the room exception of up to 3 years and $24.3 million available.

It was mentioned in the Olympics thread, but I figured it might be a decent topic worth discussing. French PF: Guerschon Yabusele wants back into the NBA. Should the Jazz use some of their room exception to buy out and sign him?

He was a guy who was originally drafted by DA in Boston (although he did cut him later on as well) and so there’s some familiarity there. The Jazz still have the availability to sign him, but they would also have to pay Madrid $2.5 million to get him out of the last year of his contract there.

Should they have any interest in that? I would welcome the move - even if to just add some toughness to the bench and another asset to utilize later.

Where dies everyone see as Sexton’s rank in starting SGs? First second third or fourth quartile?

I’m curious because if you think sexton stops the tank I presume you think he is second quartile. Not a hater but not so sure.

As a SG he would be so tragically undersized that despite his offensive prowess you would have to rank him pretty low.

As a PG he would compare better. But he isnt really a true PG, so I think you have to rank him among starting guards in general comparing him to combo guards, 1s and 2s.

Personally I would put him in the high 2nd quartile offensively, and defensively he would be firmly in the 4th. So overall Id say high 3rd?

I’d rather see the Jazz run Keyonte at PG and Cody Williams as the SG. If Sexton is traded, then Collier steps up into the #2 PG spot.

Even if Sexton stays, I’m bringing both him and Clarkson off the bench. Sexton fills the 6th man role as a combo guard and I’m looking to trade Clarkson and Collins if possible.

He played at an all star level for the majority of last season.
What quartile are all stars in?

If you believe the beat writers the Jazz are done signing players with the exception of Exhibit 10s to be sent to the Stars. It's going to be a long 6-7 weeks until camp.
