I don't laugh at people with diseases. Having a limp is not funny, stuttering is not funny, alopecia is not funny.

What Smith did was bullying in response to light bullying. I agree with you it was wrong.

Shared pain can be funny. The joke Rock told right before, about the difficulties between husbands and wives, is a universal thing we all go through, a shared pain, and pretty funny. Making fun of medical issues isn't.

If you want to laugh at the guy who kicks a crutch away, or be the kicker, then be grown up enough to take criticism, instead of whining about being canceled.

Do you think celebrities should be forced to defend themselves or would they be allowed champions? Chris Rock didn't insult Will Smith so precedent would be that celebrities can use ringers to throw punches for them but I think it would be more fun to see the ones being insulted as having to defend themselves. Chick fights in evening gowns would be amazing. Awards season might even top hockey for ratings.

I think we need to learn our way in and apply some agile methodology to the process for improvement. I would also support group conflicts (ex. reducing the top ten Best Picture nominees to five through a brawl in the parking lot and who's left standing).

Tough to know who that is. What if a guy is losing his hair to male pattern baldness and is embarrassed by it so he shaves?
