Kon has a unique finishing style. Can't remember a player who pump fakes as much as he does. He actually seems to get the step on his defender quite easy, but he'll slow down, pump fake, than body up his defender to get space for the shot. His finishing %'s are pretty great so maybe no reason to worry, but I would love it he showed that he could challenge the rim with a little more athleticism. He probably just doesn't have the athleticism to do it so this is what he does.

Kind of fun to watch his bully ball style though.

Jazz need players who want to play team concept ball
Kon fits the bill
He wants to pass. He wants to rebound. He wants to make the good shot.
He wants to defend. Etc

If Kon can shoot 64% TS, play team basketball, defend and rebound like he did in college; I don't care how vanilla he looks doing it.

just because he doesn't have mobility doesn't mean he can't. you get good at what you work on, and after an off season of mobility training, he could probably become serviceable as a cutter, add that to the rest and he'd be pretty good. If joe could be traded with a bad knee to a team that actually wanted to play him, than kon can be a contributor. i think a lot of us are stuck on having the number one pick still, at five you are lucky to get a starter for a playoff team.

His uncles are also Klint, Klay, and Kole. I know we like white players here in Utah, but this may be the whitest player in America.

Are you aware that Kyle Korver's brothers are called Klayton, Kaleb and Kirk? And that his dad is Kevin, he has an uncle called Kris and a cousin called Kari. His kids are Kyra, Knox and Koen.

This is one of my favorite weird facts. Are the Knoeppels a copycat family?

I wouldn't pick him over Tre Johnson... but I think he has a very high floor and more upside than most think. He does everything the right way- and has a no-nonsense, gritty quality that reminds me of John Stockton (in terms of demeanor and bb IQ).

fun fact: his offensive rating is 133.7 and defensive rating is 98.8. That is a CRAZY differential between the two... as high as I have seen. So there may be more to him than meets the eye?
