For being 5min out of the fermentor this beer is putting a huge smile on my face. Let's see if I can do what I want and leave a full keg of it alone until poker night.
Tomorrow I brew Honey Hole a Classic American Pilsner. Named in honer of two of my favorite Jazzfanz posters, fishonjazz and TroutBum.
Edit: Just saw that Kentucky finished their season with a perfect record! Amazing. Fitting that I kegged #9 just as they were putting a cap on their perfect season.

Just back from my first ever home brew club meeting. Went to the Lauter Day Brewers open meeting tonight. Been sippin' on all sorts of stuff. Most of it pretty good. One to avoid, a commercial brew, is Crazy Brewski, a 15%abv imperial pilsner. The guy passing it out was giving a disclaimer and pouring about 1/2oz into anyone's cup who would accept it. **** was nasty.
Tried a couple good ones. Passed out a few of my own. They had the QA manager from Epic brewing there to tell us how we could set up our own home QA lab for under $200. Pretty interesting. The guy came with his pretty hot GF and during his power point his disclosed he got his degree from the U of Kentucky. His GF was standing off to the side of a circle I was standing in passing out my #9 and I was talking about it with the owner of the Salt City Brew Supply and he basically called it out as being similar to Bell's Two Hearted, I told him that was basically what I was after and that I had brewed it for a guy I knew from Kentucky who was a huge Wildcats fan and that it was called #9, definite head turn from the hot chick married to the QA manager from Epic.

There's some good stuff round here, from what I've heard. Not the commonly-exported stuff doe.
One of my friends loves whisky-- he has some of this in his cabinet, and ppl always faun after it (never had it myself doe).
