What's going on with Ingles?

Through 6 games he’s had two really great games two average games and two below average games... I mean maybe it’s just basketball.

You'll probably think I'm crazy for saying this, but try this amazing trick before you doubt me. Take his stat totals from each one of his games. Add them together (points plus points, rebounds plus rebounds, etc.). Then divide each total by the number of games. Your final answer, if you have done the math right, will exactly match his averages! I think it must have something to do with Joe having been a math teacher early in life. (That's true, isn't it. I read it on a bunch of other team's forums).

When we need him, he'll be there. When others are playing well, he'll defer. As others play well, things will open up and he can shoot his beloved wide open shots. All is well in Jazzland!

Teams are playing us tighter on the perimeter, and trying to inhibit our drive and kick game which gave us wide open shots. To fight this, we need Ricky and Donovan to be better on the shorter midrange. Seems like both are just trying to barrel to the bucket and are ending up smothered with no passing lanes other than the Gobert lob. Both are capable of stopping and popping the 10 foot jumper which is entirely open. That said, we are still scoring a ridiculous amount each game.

I expect the Jazz to adjust to the new defensive rules and create more in transition which gives us the mismatches that Ingles uses to destroy fools.
