What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

"In the Name of the Father" One of my all time favorites. It's on NETFLIX streaming if anyone hasn't seen it.

I liked Drive a lot. I ranked it as the second best movie of the year, for myself at least from what I've seen which has been limited. And I really like Ryan Gosling in general. I loved him in The Notebook. I have no balls I know. Anyway, while the music, cinematography, Brooks and Friedkin-eqsue violence in Drive were amazing, I felt the movie was a little too flat, namely because Gosling felt a little too flat and one dimensional throughout. Just my opinion. I liked what he was going for but wish I would have seen another dimension to him...yeah, the elevator scene was unreal, but something else to make me, I don't know, understand him more, like him more, see he wasn't just a brooding robot.

I watched Drive. It wasn't that great. Awkward slow dialogue, turned into a horror like violent movie fast, where the hell were the cops, weird plot like movie. With that said, I think I had too high expectations. The music and the filming was sick though.

Just got done with this one:

Thoroughly enjoyed it.

I really enjoyed Warrior.

Not a movie, but I finally finished the TV series Game of Thrones. I've already read the books, so I knew everything that happened, but it was nice to watch it. Pretty good series.

Rocky and Karate Kid had more focus on the training and the journey before the matches rather then the matches then warrior, there was barely any training in this, like the tourney was in like a couple of weeks or something like that.

Are you kidding me? I bet you hated Rocky and the Karate Kid movies too, didn't you?

I agree with the OP here. The marketing on Warrior was awful. For me, not only was it obvious about who was going to fight in the finals but who was going to win the final match. This was evident from the trailer. It's also evident from the DVD box cover which is as bad as you get as far as giving away endings. Just stupid.
