What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

Meh. Eastwood has to be the most overrated director, at least over the last 15 years or so anyway. He’s known to finish his films ahead of schedule and it shows in his mediocre work.

Yeah I was scared of that cause I thought that The Mule was terrible. But, having just watched this movie it actually had a really good pace given the topic and kept me engaged the whole time.

Saw Star Wars last night. Wasn't as bad as The Last Jedi but was still pretty far down there.
I thought the prequels were bad. These last 3 have 0 direction, everything was mashed together and all over the place, there's about 20 scenes in The Rise of the Skywalker with Rey literally staring off into space, the 3 main characters feel NOTHING like Luke, Leia, and Hon.

Rogue One is great though. It's better than any of the last 4 (Hon, Awaken, Skywalker, Jedi) combined

I’d hardly say Rogue was great. It was solid though.

That’s because these idiots can’t act. You had an absolutely great, classic actor in Guinness, one of the greatest
movie stars of the last 50 years in Ford, one of the greatest voices of all-time in Vadar, and a pretty damn good actress in Fisher herself.

In this trilogy you have a mediocre Ridley, an awful Boyega, and a walking Viagra commercial in Isaac who I had high hopes for about five years ago after Inside Llewyn Davis, but it’s pretty much been all been bad since, minus Ex Machina. And I’m not sure if that fugly Asian chick is in this one but by God, she ****ing sucked in the last one.

The ****** scripts don’t help either of course.

She's definitely in this one but I feel she got thrown under the bus tbh

The Muppets Christmas Carol. People kept telling me it was the best movie version of the Dickens classic. Not generally a fan of the furry critters, but it was quite good.

Free Solo. Really effing good.

Seriously. This film was fantastic. I want to see Chin’s Meru now which sounds just as good, if not better. The last 20-30 minutes were so damn tense, and Alex seems as if he was absolutely groomed for this. Not in the rock climbing sense though his parents did have climb a lot when he was a kid. But in the his parents never said I love you and never hugged and he therefore never asked anyone to belay him as he grew older and did much Free Solo on his own as a result. Dude is completely void of emotions and thinks very calmly, almost like some sort of automaton. Some of those shots were absolutely nuts and Alex after that toughest part (forget what it was called) was just sitting there excitedly smiling at the drone’s camera. Unreal. Mad props. And dude’s gf is cute as hell.

Watch The Dawn Wall next. Better than Free Solo.
