What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

I couldn't find Wes post about how there are no good young actors but how about the black actor in that movie Get Out?
I'm watching Widows right now and he is in it and fantastic again like he was in Get Out

Very good call possibly.

You like the movie? I really really liked it. So different. All females leads. Twists. Great acting.

Ya the twists were good ones. Acting superb.
I wish there would have been more screen time for the short haired white actress (she was in Fargo, and the HBO series The Leftovers) cause she is one of my favorites.

Great movie

I think there are plenty of good young actors working today, just off the top of me head, Timothee Chalomet, John Boyega, that kid from Bates Motel, Michael B Jordan, Ana Taylor Joy, Paul Dano, all of the kids from Stranger Things...

Love Paul dano. He was great in Prisoners (one of my favorite movies) and also great in escape from Dannemora where he actually outshined benicio del Toro which is hard to do.

What I had said was American actors under 40 who can carry a big production film, ala Hanks, Denzel, Cruise, etc.

I’m not confident one can.

And I love Chalamet. He’s one I think could but he’s so slight...and the kid from Bates? Lulz.

Call Me by Your Name for which he was up for an Oscar but I didn't see the movie.
Ladybird--Movie was mediocre but he's good.
Beautiful Boy
Interstellar as a young Casey Affleck
A couple other things.

I think I've seen him in Ladybird and one other thing and found him absolutely magnetic as all hell in both.

Oh yeah that makes way more sense.

I'm watching London fields.
Horrible film.
Amanda Heard is sexy as hell though

Watched Alita Battle Angel because we had nothing better to do. CGI was really good, some of the best I've seen. Story, acting, ending all pretty meh. Some really great action sequences though, and it was pretty entertaining. So worth it if you have nothing better to do. Maybe a 3 out of 5.

I recently read "Frankenstein" and I've watched a few Frankenstein movies in the past couple of weeks (1931's Frankenstein, 1974's Young Frankenstein, 1994's Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, and 2015's Victor Frankenstein). I think I'm done. FYI - Kenneth Branaugh's 1994 version was my favorite.
