What's The Last Movie You’ve Seen?

One of the worst movies I've ever seen.

Anybody else completely sick of superhero movies? I'm really anticipating the 3rd batman movie, but outside of that I am just done with them. Green Lantern, Thor, another spiderman, captain america, etc. I just have no interest in that genre anymore.

I'm with you. But the moviegoing public is not. The movies are just totally bankable so long as you don't roll snakeyes like Green Lantern (which sadly won't be a total bomb for WB). Even the wretched Green Hornet was a huge hit. And you can look forward to a 150 million dollar Stretch Armstrong movie next year (amongst others I could list.)

Superheroes top the list of desirable product. Vampires and Zombies are warhorses that can run the spectrum from tentpole to indie. Every genre company in Hollywood has a vampire or zombie movie in development, usually several. Horror is the one guaranteed moneymaker. Costs nothing, flops are negligible, the hits are better dollar for dollar than every genre. The torture porn wave kept some companies afloat. And when you hit big on a Blair Witch or Paranormal Activity, you can almost clear you whole balance sheet of flops.

Meh. It was boring and I was surrounded by couples and girls who openly announced that they wanted to get laid. I hate people who don't know how to whisper during movies.

Was actually a pretty damn good movie per my standards. Kept me glued to the set the entire time. Would definately recommend it to anyone.

Watched "Winter's Bone" this weekend. It was like a feel-good movie, only the exact opposite. The only things missing were concentration camps, people dying of disease, and a dingo eating a baby. It clocks in at about 95 minutes, which is good, because another 10 minutes might have led to mass suicide.
