I think that's why the second season was the weakest for me: you could skip it and probably not miss any story lines for subsequent seasons. And yes, Omar is a BMF.

Great show. Love it. Gonna start watching The Wire and Deadwood soon. I'm also currently enjoying Justified quite a bit.
