Mate of mine said it was ****e, didn't go see it. Its still showing at an art-house cinema in Melbourne gonna try to talk the girl into seeing it. Its unlikely she'll be up for it tho.

I think movies like Get Out really suffer from overexposure and people knowing too much going in. I had a pretty good idea what the movie was about just from the trailers. Think movies like that would probably have more impact going in blind.

I kind of agree with OL. I thought Get Out was pretty good, but not great. They kind of dragged out the twist after it became obvious.

I'd agree with you here. We went into it blind. The wife and I ended up with an extra couple of hours kid-less the other day and went to the theatre and it was there in a second run. We knew nothing about it, other than people loved it and it involved a black guy in a weird, rich white world.

Loved that movie. It was fantastic. After Black Mirror and Get Out, Daniel Kaluuya is one of my favorite actors out there.

Watched it last night. Fantastic. It was the first Wolverine movie that was actually a Wolverine movie.

It was good, but did you think it was GREAT?


I'm a big Black Mirror fan, and Get Out feels a bit too much like an elongated version of a Black Mirror episode, especially with the same main actor.
