Night Moves (1975) Great Gene Hackman film, maybe his best.. Not to be confused with the crap that came out few years back with the same name.

I've seen probably 100 private eye films in just the past few years, The Maltese Falcon and The Long Goodbye being my favorite 2, and this is one of the very best.

Saw the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari the other night. Which turns 100 years old soon. What a thrill! Hands-down my favorite silent film and its not even close.

Sean Penn's "The Pledge" starring Jack Nicholson, is really a hell of a movie. 9/10. The old retiring cop on the last day of the job plot is soooooo played out, but the way this is done -- it's the best of them all, hands down..

Probably Nicholson's greatest, most under-rated role.

Lmao The Pledge was a mediocre film. There’s a reason it gets a 6.8 on IMDb and Penn hasn’t directed that many films.

Hilarious that Lord BSArtist says he is watching all these. Not only does he seem to be watching 2-3 movies a day but he’s doing so with movies that don’t seem to be on any streaming service.

Just finished the nightingale. Pretty good movie. Some very very hard to watch scenes due to the brutality and graphic nature.

Saw a movie called The Death of Dick Long a few days ago. It was quite good but had a very very crazy twist that i didn't see coming. And its (the crazy twist) based off a true story.

I just saw Jodhaa Akbar and the latest Addmas family today. I enjoyed both, neither was great.

Not a fan of pretty much any comic book movies, though the Batman ones are the best by far imo, but the Joker was stellar. Wife and I both loved it.

Not much of an Anime Guy, Lots of it seems kinda formulaic and regurgitated. There's always thinly veiled shots taken at Americans(usually portrayed by some cliche villain) and American studio's.

Summer Wars(2009) has some crazy production value though, it's pretty damn good. Some of the animation, use of whites, and also the soundtrack are amazing. Lots of cute stuff.

Overall i'd give it a solid 8.5 tho. I havent seen many anime movies, but im quite sure this is upper tier.
