I really enjoyed The Avengers last weekend. Any movie can be improved upon, but it met my high expectations and I never caught myself checking my watch.

I haven't checked previous pages but I expected much more about The Avengers and yes it is a good movie best I've seen this year IMO. The Hulk had some of the best parts of the movie near the end.

I saw Dark Shadows today, and loved it!! It did not disappoint me at all.

This seems like it's going to be the biggest year ever for movies, from a money perspective, BY FAR. I have no idea if the first four months of the year were subpar or not but The Avengers is kicking off the "summer" season as an unparalleled cash cow. Add in TDKR, The Hobbit, and The Amazing Spider-Man and we're looking at what, 5B internationally? Maybe 6B? I say all this after a huge movie news day. The Skyfall trailer came out. No Bardem in the trailer but very dark and badass. The Master teaser trailer came out and Phoenix looks like he crushes it. It doesn't show PSH at all but I'm stoked. Django Unchained pics and news came out and it sounds like another huge winner. And maybe more than any of these, I can't contain myself for Prometheus. One sweet *** year possibly.
