A fantastic/sci-fi fiction. I loved the atmosphere created by Jeunet and Caro. Great colours and directing. Ron Pearlman, Dominique Pinon and Daniel Emilfork all do a great job but what surprised me was the actings of children. Could be the best I have ever seen. Story is very interesting but somewhat confusing. All in all a visual delight. I give it 8/10.

And it has one of the creepiest beginnings.

Super low budget, neo-noir flick filmed on 16mm. Heavily rehearsed scenes as a result of few takes.

Interesting story to say the least. Quite a few turns in the story. Almost had a documentary feel to it. A little over an hour, I'd definitely give it a try.

78% on RT which seems about right.

Edge of Tomorrow....it was surprisingly good, very different. Its if Groundhog Day and Independence Day had a baby.

I watched a few recently...

Finally watched Her. Considering Joaquin Phoenix and Amy Adams are two of my favorites, it was a very enjoyable watch for me. Great movie, no complaints.

Watched Good Night and Good Luck. It chronicles a back-and-froth between CBS broadcaster Ed Murrow (I think that was his name, idk) and Joe McCarthy as it takes place during the red scare. Features phenomenal writing, probably a lot of it taken from actual speeches during the time, idrk. Good movie for jazz enthusiasts as well because Diane Reeves is featured in the movie. It's all black and white.

On the Waterfront. Hadn't seen it yet and needed to. Terrific movie. Everyone needs to watch it.

Watched The Hunt. My least favorite of the four, but still a good movie. It's about a falsely accused pedophile so it's all dramatic and ish. I think it was Danish, idrr.

Right now, I'm about to watch Crystal Fairy and the Magical Cactus. So if it sucks, someone please tell me and it will save me time.
 
But then again, I only got 10 minutes in. I'm pretty open minded and dont enjoy quitting things early either, but it was super bad.
